The lamentable thing is that there was no real alternative to corrupt politicians in UP. May be people have voted for lesser evil and they have given a clear mandate to stop Aya Ram and Gaya Ram so that at least the money exchange in horse-trading goes out. Then the Brahmin bureaucrats will hold the reign and I hope they are less corrupt though they may be a little bit arrogant. We can tolerate arrogance if it results in less corruption and good administration. Best wishes to Mayawati in her Second innings.
