u favour the approach of the iron man home minister. the other approach is the tough one but the more effective one. it doesnt hype itself and then falls flat on its face. it takes everyone along with minimum fuss but maximum patience. it will not appeal nursing imaginary grievances or afflicted by fear. it does not provide great soundbites. but it knows what it is doing. but it doesnt appeal to young kids on the block. that is exactly how george bush landed in iraq,just to cite an instance of holier than thou being cruelly exposed.

if sachar was an illegal act,parliament will deal with it. the community has to be given a hand and it will be done. this is exactly like the caste census,first guys said there is no data and then in 2001,the same guys argued aginst caste census.

THAT MEANS, SACHAR DATA DONOT HAVE THE SCIENTIFIC SANCTITY AS A NORMAL STATISTICAL SURVEY WILL HAVE.
SACHAR WAS FED DATA BY MUSLIM ACTIVITIES, AND THUS CONGRESS TRIED TO EXPAND ITS VOTEBANK.
ALSO, THE BUSINESS ATANDARD PUBLISHED AN ARGUMENT: THAT SACAHAR PROVES NOTHING.
MUSLIMS ARE FOUND LESS IN HIGHER EDUCATION BECAMSE THEIR NUMBER IS LESS AT THE BEGINNING OF HIGHER EDUCATION.
IN ANY CASE, EVEN IF CONSTITUTION IS AMENDED, AND MUSLIM RESERVATION/MUSLIM-CENTRIC POLICIES ARE PUT UNDER ARTICLE 9 (WHERE IT CANNOT QEUSTIONED BY COURT)- IT WILL STILL BE THROWN OUT BY THE COURT.
BECAUSE, IN A SECULAR COUNTRY, YOU CANNOT DO STUFF BASED ON RELIGIOUS LINES.

that is why the sachar committee was appointed,to examine the entire situation and suggest remedies. things will take their own course,there wont be any great rhetoric like keeping the army at the borders for months on end. where faults have been made,they will be rectified. a govt which thirsts for glory will resort to hype and publicity. a govt which realises the magnitude of the task has no time for self publicity. relax.

WHY CPIM ESTABLISHED MADRASAS, SPENDING RS 500 CRORE/ANNUM ON MADRASA FROM mere 5 Lakhs in 1977?
WHY NOT NORMAL GOVT RUN PRIMARY SCHOOLS, SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN MUSLIM AREAS AS SEEN IN OTHER PLACES?
