Ambedkar was a prduct of Maharashtra's soil. His name commands respect in all parts, every nook and corner of India, unlike 'mahatma'. If Bangal was greater then why is there no son of Bangal so revered in India today? Wonderful maharashtra and Marathis are the real India, the real contributors to India's nationhood. Northies can't see beyond Hindi and some petty politics ( BIMARUs).., and southies hate northies and think they are 'unfortunate' to be in the same country as the northies. Marathis think beyond all this. Maharashtra will continue to produce leaders like Ambedkar and carry the flag of india.

real indians are ghandhi and buddha. not some ambekars or some guy from from bimaru or madrasi. They command respect in international area, not your ambekar or ambavadekar.
all you guys are just dominant and forceful people. real peaceful PEOPLE not leaders are in real and original maharastra, that you dont know.

It is because of people like you and like your thinking people of india stand divided and i wonder if any time in future this thinking will change.You tell Mahrashtra is real India i think it is not.You just sit and write here and dont know what you are writing.Real Indians are those who laid their lives for india count me no of names who are from maharashtra who laid their life for india.I will make you count Baghat Singh,Chandarshekhar Azad and they are count less.Go to north who stay on border and see their lives but they still are fighting their lands.How many military persons are from Mahrashtra and North check the statstics just dont blow your guns away without any logic .Mayawati has come to power not a big deal she has come many a times then why is UP like this today.Why farmers in Mahrashtra still comitt suicide.I am not telling that North peopel are better that Mahrashtra or vice-versa.It is all india one ok but people like you will never let it one.

Stupid comment from an idiot regionist!!!Very true for the Myopic Marathis who are now asking for people from other states to go out of Mumbai!!You shrewd marathis!! Do some ground work before commenting on the entire race...Who can forget the vast contributions of Bengal,UP,Bihar and Punjab in the sturggle for Independance.Half of the Manpower spread across Socio Economic Clans in Maharashtra (Right from Panwallas to amitabh Bacchhan) are outsiders.Any comments???

no community is greater than another. Bangal has produced great sons; recent examples being Satyajit Ray/Dr Amartya Sen.Let us not say that Marathis are greater than Bengalis. Both Communities have their good points.
