reddy,thevar,jat .et.c VL learn their lesson when time comes, nobody can escape. There is perfect accountin system in the universe. It's not the end of the world. It's not over till it's over. Regarding, Brahmins: what is brahmin?? It's role in the society. Proctically they r no brahmins(preists), ksatriyas(rulers) and vaishyas(merchants) now, as particular people are not playing those roles. Now all Indians are playing the Role called sudras. The momemnt u voilate the rules of the ROLE, u no longer playing that role. Why do u talk abt the things happened in the past. Let the past be past. Any problem?

yeh sab log 50th floor se sucide kare ya phir demonstration kare brahmin ko kyoi bhi nahi hara sakta....
Brahmins are born talented,they share knowledge,they are not born with golden spoonor silver spoon they work hard (example Naryan Murthy of Infosy,Tendulkar,Dravid etc).
And not every Brahmin believes in caste system.Hardly 5% Of brahmins thinks about dalit as lowert caste !

In the past, one group called Brahmins created a system called casted which devided the society. Long back Brahmins commited huze blunders indirectly. This caste system created beggers/poor people. Education was monoplized by Brahmins. Current Brahmins are enjoying the foundation led out by the primitive brahmins. Brahnins used thread tied to their body to control negetive emotions. Others in the country were not allowed to use such mind control techniques. Brahmins are not special . they were given a job, Primitive brahmins did it. In the same way group in the society was given a job they did it too. Caste is the root cause of all problems in india. Few groups got benifited and more groups could not benefit from the caste. Current brahins say they r innocents but their ancestors made blunders indirectly/some times directly. these Naryan Murthy of Infosy,Tendulkar,Dravid etc use mind control techniques and do the job. They r not special. Current Brahmins maybe ooook but not certainly premitive Brahmins

Mayavati is a result of Reservation ...Perhpas you fool dont understand. Not all dalits require brahimns for anything othet than using them like Mayavati has done. Now Brahmins are going to be 21-st centuries's vote bank :)....Great going ...!

I am not a supporter of reservations. At the same time recommend reservations to the really needy--but not the way the present day politicians distributed the reservations cake like the way Europeans shared Africa in the 18th century.
Here are my answers to the points you raised:
1. You are right. It is not the Brahmin who expliot Dalits. It is the other landlord and martial upper castes do the most. Brahmin is wrongly implicated. This is due to prpaganda by some ignorant people. 2. Brahmins seldom stopped Dalits from getting educated. It is the others who are active in doing that. 3. But here you need some empathy. Dalits being subjected to continuous expliotation could not develop the necessary culture and mindset needed to compete with other. 4. Anyway here the concept of serving Hinduism is not the point of discussion. We are discussing only from the social justice point of view. 5. That is more out of habbit or tradition. Brahmin should be happy that Dalits still seek their priesthood. 6. It is a fact that Brahmins contributed for the education and several other good things in India. Now show some generosity. If they are accusing you, you give them blessings. They will soon realise.
Don't be antipathic towards Dalits. They are not competing with Brahmins. They want some fair deal and treatment. It is some poiticians who created the myth that Brahmin is the father of caste system. In fact, all are collectively responsible for the growth of this evil system. So let us together root out this system instead of pointing finger at each other and wasting energy.

Dear howisthat, below I have listed my suggestions FOR A PERMANENT SOLUTION:
TODAY WE ARE LIVING WITH TWO EVILS--CASTE SYTEM AND RESERVATION SYSTEM
Most important thing is there is need to raise the cultural, confidence and thinking levels of the weaker sections. They should be trained how to compete and how to improve their motivation level. They should given some out of the curriculum training, which should include communications skills, English language skills, personality development, etc.
Simply distributing quotas for different castes does not bring any permanent change. These disparities will continue further prolonging the reservation system. People who are very weak need reservations. But that should not be a pre-planned permanent thing.
Caste system is an evil. To undo that evil reservations were created. But, today, thanks to our politicians, we are living with two evils--caste system and reservation system.
We need more scientific and systemmatic approach to reform the caste system.
The following principles should be followed:
1. Religion-based reservations should be stopped. 2. Caste-based reservations should be given only to those who are really discriminated, irrespective of religion. 3. Even among the so-called discriminated sections economically better off people should be brought under general category. 4. Caste may be mentioned in the applications forms only if someone from weaker sections desires reservations. No caste need to be mentioned for open category candidates. 5. If a Dalit or OBC voluntarily opts to be in general category then he and his children can come into general category. No caste needs to be mentioned in future. 6. Reservations should taper off like a pyramid as we go up towards higher education. 7. It should be made mandatory for those who opt for reservations to attend government or charity sponsored personality-cum-communication skills development programs and exams
PS: The above are my personal opinions. Some of the above written things may need improvements or corrections.
