Low voter turnout is the key to BJP's defeat.

Its crisp & clear. The 22% dalit votebase provided the required majority in the 46% total voter turn around. While mayavati could garner, almost 22% of her votebase, the remaining half of the voters are split b/w the other parties.

If the voter turnaround had been around 60-70%, BJP could have been the clear winner.

Incidently, BJP has failed to bring its voterbase to the polling booth. It has to change its policies that things would automatically happen. Its we who have to make things happen.
I hope, BJP will realise this, and shed its sadhu character and becomes more aggressive & assertive too.

BJP has been kicked because of its dirty communal agenda. Even mulayam won double the seats as compared to BJP.

It is said " Victory has many mothers but Defeat is Orphan"

so many analysis for BJP's loss that too from a Gownder from Tamilnadu. BJP has tried its best aggressively to garner votes by CD campaign but it has failed miserably.

Do something assertive, you cant win every election simply on the grounds of Muslim bashing, ISI, LET.
