preservation of forests.

Kerala chief minister Achuthanandan is taking corrective measures. if he can survive his full 5 years term he will defenitely make lot of changes. all the good wishes. as you rightly said distruction of Walayar forests has badly affected Tamilnadu catchment areas. similarly there are many other parts of Karnataka also. due to poor mainatanance all the rivers are full of wild grass. no water and no sand. more over river sides are converted /reclaimed for other crops thus reducing the width of rivers. comming days will decide his further plans.
