khatna is a sort of procedure performed to remove the foreskin of the clitoris. this has got two purpose- 1 it helps scarring to the area, more no pleasure to woman. only pain. 2 it also stisfy male ego that his wife will not enjoy sex with anyone. so muslim females will be without sex and he can enjoy sex with maid and other females.

HAHA.. facelessindian.. you are such an ignorant moron! Khatna.. or 'circumcision' does not remove foreskin from the clitoris. Do you even know what clitoris is?. Khatna removes the foreskin from the tip of the male penis. Majority of the world population (muslims and jews and even most christians) do it.

Nadeem has correctly explaines the term.
The need for such procedure emerged because in his days, the prophet was engaged in making relations with all the creatures of allah, the goat, the hen, the males, the females etc. In summary whereever he found hole, he tried to put his tool in that, and this damaged his foreskin badly and risk of HIV, germs etc. increased. Then he derived this unique formula jisse ki "Saanp (germs) bhi mar jaye, aur lathi (his tool) bhi na toote"

For example, 1. Muhammad believed that the Sun sets in the sea. Not only science, Quran has even got history wrong. 1. It claims that Alexander was a Muslim, when in fact, in Greece, there is a painting of Alexander prostrating before the Sun God.
Some more fallacies of Quran include: 1. Old Jewish tales, which have even been denounced by the Jews themselves as heretical, and false. 2. Many words which don't even belong to Arabic, so, people who studied the ancient Quran were free to interpret it any way they liked. 3. A lot of unintelligent transitions, for example, one surah talks about Namaz, whereas the next one talks about fighting in Allah's cause. 4. Referring to Allah in both the 1st person and 3rd person in the same sentence.
It is a sacred belief of Muslims that the Quran is the word of Allah, and hence, it is second to none in the world of literature. But, the above points show that not only Quran is a stupid book, ANY COHERENT WRITING IS SUPERIOR TO QURAN. I wonder which kind of God can be so stupid (and his followers too!).

Hi Nadeem,
the reason for the question was that I think all religions are supposed to be pure and then how come we think of religious ceromonies like the one that you guys have. I might be wrong but just want to know more about Islam so please dont take my question otherwise.
