The efficiency of state and central government itelligence agencies need a thorough revamping. Time and again, incidents happening around us have proved the ineffectiveness of these machinaries. It is high time the fragmented intelligence agencies function under a national command so that we are well prepared to deal with terrorists strike.Such a prepardness would save precious lives as well as thwart nafarious activities of divisive forces. Above all there would be a focussed attention on the terror menace which otherwise gets diluted due to the jurisdictional approach of states and centre.
