Punishmnt to Dutt

Sanjay Dutt is a super hero in reel life. In olden days, artists born to reform the society. All his actions, expressions are of those human beings - oppressed, undertaken ardous tasks to fullfil obligations to the society. They were reckoned to be responsible reformers and greatly admired and loved. But now when many of these lots never knew nothing beyond their luxury, godly image and super human life they themselves thinking to be extra ordinary and extra previlaged. They never tried to realise their responsiblities. Now Dutt is pleading and self-sympathised. But taking his image into consideration if he is spared, this will lead to serious problems in the posterior. Why Dutt does not deserve to be punished, is the question. When being from an elite family, he thought, keeping a gun or doing an offence was his prerogative? His father was of course a neat personality. But this man of 34 did not realise the value of respect common man devoted to their family. These types are still in the rise and unless they are given to taste the bitter side of inhuman acts - through punitive action - they would never understand their limitations. Sanjay Dutt should forgive me when I opine as a man of integrity he himself should ask for the maximum punishment that the offence calls for and should become a model for his benevolence is the best way instead of begging for reprieve. He should come down to earth and as model this will illustrate the countries elite bandwagons that all human beings are equal on this earth planet, and none of them are supposed to misuse their freedom and break the rules made for ourselves. This I think will earn more respect and love for Dutt, already having realised his mistake. This will in no way affect his family, film industry or nothing will happen untoward. Because something we broke, we have to pay the price, not by force, by our own will - thus become one of us falling in line with the world order. Thanks

But the society has to punish him bcos definitely he did some wrong. We have to reform the concept of punishment. He cannot chose his punishment.

I think he is definitely guilty of keeping the weapons. Also I believe he never knew the extent of damage his collaboration with the terrorists can cause. But not knowing the law is no excuse of being pardoned. He has to be punished. But we have to reform the concept of punishment. Punishment shud be to make the person realise that he has done wrong, but at the same time try to channel that guilt for the good of society which he has contributed in harming (or destroying if u like). Punishment leading to just destruction of the person pained by the guilty deed is of no use.

Did the court punish, Rahul Mahajan for possesing drugs which is also a crime? In that drug case 1 person lost his life. what happened? BJP did everything that his case should not reach court. That is called misuse of political power.

Why there is injustice for Sanjay Dutt? He had already spent 16 month in jail. You people are not seeing the other side of coin. Look at the work he is doing for poor and cancer patients.
