The encounter
by Anusha R on May 16, 2007 08:51 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

folks - why are we debating and accusing each other on caste/religious basis on this subject. All I can understand is, there was an encounter death in Gujarat and now it is under investigation to find out the truth behind the same to know whether it was fake or genuine.

The Hon'ble Supreme Court has the wisdon and power to decide whether it has to be handed over to CBI or not on merits of the application and the ongoing investigation. The SC, as on date, found that the state government lead investigation is on the right track. Let us follow the happening and see the final findings and make our comments/opinion.

While we know that corruption is widespread in India at all levels, irrespect of hindu/muslim/sikh/christian..etc. we should, (at least) have a amount of faith in the Supreme Court, because that is the place we finally knock.
Culprits, without caste, creed and religion should be punished and should not be allowed to get away..
I wish the investigation department all the very best and hope that they do their duty deligently and sincerely without succumbing to pleasure and power politics.

Dear Indur,

They kill not only Muslim and Christians but also Hindus.

Prof. Sabbharwal is not a Christian.
Tulsi Ram Prajapati is not a Muslim.
Shilpa Shetty is not a Christian or Muslim.

They attack everybody.

Mr Chhugani,

I visited your website. The age group of vigilantes you speak of (58 , highly qualified) are probably the best suited for the clean up you have in mind. Yet even people like me will have a role to play. Thank you for the inspiration, and wish you all success!
