India needs strong nuclear weapons. Look ate Indias neighbours. No one can remain peacefully in India with such kind of neighbours. USA is presuurising us by all means to go awau from nuclear programs. But the thing is that India should become self dependent so that no on eis able to deictate terms to us. If USA can condemn other for testing nuclear bombs even when it is continuing with its own nuclear program then that is becasue USA is not dependent on any one. Any way this was a good article. well said Abbas .... There are some things when no one risks intervention ... why even think that US intentions are genuine ... even if they are why dont they go to China for such a deal... or why dont we have such a deal with them .... that is why dont we have access to their facilities ... till such time there is no pro quid pro a general rule is weaker is going to be exploited ... but I very miserably feel that there are some elements in our country where we have a tendency to welcome the outsiders in our home and then cry later that they ruled us for 400 years or watever .... dont know when as a civilization will we become self confident and independent and not invite outsiders for a change in things as critical as security ....
