casteist farce!
by Aritavanu on May 14, 2007 02:46 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

I can only pity smaller Sudra castes who do not have numbers or education to show any political clout. The old Manu Smriti discriminated based on birth and impurity of occupation; the new Rajiva Smriti wants to discriminate based on numbers. As if throwing the words like 'equality' will give his rants some dignity. History repeats itself. Now we are seeing communalists and casteists coming out of a community(numerically the biggest) which was once outcasted in Kerala. Of course, they are only following the paths taken by Saivas(Lingayats) in Karnataka and Vaishnavas(Tengalai Ayyangars) in South India in the past.

His bell curve and race are hilarious analogies when discussing about present day politics in India. The fact is Brahmins have numbers in UP but not in Kerala.

No.WE neither want Manu Smriti nor rajva smruti nor caste. We will judge a person by his deeds. That is it.
