great history. See the history of congress with whole population supporting it before 1947 now even 40 percent donot support it

Bhai Indian, In first general election Congress under Nehru could secure 50% of votes with difficulty.

So this was the support to congress in 1947.

Had they been so poerful they could have avoided the partion of India. It is the hype and rumers spread by Congressi that they had popular support in 1947
