I think a lot of good will happen, if CPIM becomes out of power from West Bengal and Kerala just for a decade.

That will minimize the leftist hold over policy, media.

Caste has been made a central axis of Indian society - both in history as well as politic by Marxists.

Its their contribution.

The problem is that they don't make up enough of the voters to win it for them. BJP is still the clear leader in urban areas because the Congress is dead, and SP and BSP scare the hell out of them. But in the villages, that type of politics works. As Bihar and UP become more urbanized, casteist parties like JD(U), RJD, LJP, SP and BSP will be crowded out by the BJP and Congress. We can only hope this process is fast, because such regional parties have no right to dictate national politics.

Caste politics will NOT stop just like that. Because Indian media is re-enforcing that on a daily basis.

COming from West Bengal (thanks to ground work done by Sri Chaitanyadev some 500 years back), we have had less caste consciousness. But reading everyday alomost in every para, the casteist analysis of events is reenforcing on us. If this can happen to us, I can imagine what may be happening to others.

What needs to be done is Caste coalition. As being done in Bihar and now UP.

Slowly, though BJP doesn't believe in Caste, BJP must build and expand on its caste base and accomodate more and more groups.

Congress is dead. Probabaly marxists will take it over within a decade.

that's why the role of RSS & other non-political parties are important. They have cadres and the ground work needs to be done solwly but surely.

bjp LOST IN 2004 BECAUSE THESE URBAN MIDDLE CLASS THOUGHT BJP WILL WIN AND NEVER WENT OUT FOR VOTE.

THAT'S HOW ILLEHAL BANGLADESHI MUSLIMS VOTED FOR CONGRESS (AND CONGRESS IS PROTECTIN INTEREST BY DRAGGING ITS FEET ON IMDT, THOUGH SC SHOT IT DOWN TWICE).

SAME MISTAKE IS NOT REPEATED TWICE.
