I my 32years of age i have Never Voted..... Is there a way out? Parliamentary democracy is too entrenched in India, and cannot be altered easily. In fact, there is no need to alter democracy's basic structure. Let single-member territorial constituencies continue to elect members to the legislatures and Parliament. But we should consider the idea of electing the chief ministers and the prime minister for a fixed term, in a one-person-one-vote direct election. Let the chief ministers and the prime minister choose one half of their ministers from members of the legislatures or Parliament and the other half from outside. To prevent dictatorial tendencies, let us throw in a two-term limit for the chief minister and prime minister.
I know I am thinking out of the box. That is because my prime concern is how to rescue governance from the chaos created by our political parties.

You should go out and vote first otherwise those who rig votes, will vote on your behalf...this problem is there throughout the country even with tight security, some miscreants get away with it. You should go early in the morning and vote when there is not much rush. I was feeling lazy today and felt like missing this one but it was a splendid morning, not much rush and took me just a couple of minutes and I returned back home. It's your right and someone else can misuse it, I had missed voting in 3 earlier elections but I went this time and It wasn't such a headache as it is perceived by many people. It actually gives you a feeling of content, even if the party I have voted for loses, no problem...at least I voted and exercised my inherent Right. Do go out and vote when elections take place in your area or at the Union level. Take Care.

The one who does not vote has no right to give speech for the democracy, government etc. You and people like you are reason of the present conditions.

You are 100% right. It is impractical to ask one party to win 50% of seats.
