Hindus cannot be united against injustice until castism is removed from India.
It is upto the so called 'higher caste', especially the Brahmins to abolish any form of castism from Hinduism.
Merely blaming politicians for everything is not a solution. Why are we being hypocratical? We tell muslims to correct wrong teachings within Islam but have done little to abolish castism within India. Merely saying that the scriptures doesnt talk about caste/varna etc is not enough, my brothers. If the religion has not created it, but the people following it have then it is upto the same people to abolish it.
Any normal person can reason that caste system "based on birth" was created by the so called higher caste, in order to maintain their status in society. Every indian should work to abolish it..but more so the brahmins. Instead of blaming reservation..which itself is bad..abolish castism itself..where is the question of reservation then?
Some simple ways of abolishing it although there might be more ways
1. Make it illegal to ask anyone or mention in any document ones caste 2. Ban mentioning caste while seeking marriage proposals in newspaper/websites. 3. Anybody should be able to be a priest not just a brahmin 4. Ban surnames that identify with caste
Unless these things are done with serious efforts and just given lip service... or one or two symbols of abolishing caste..forget about any form of national unity...We need modern thinking and action..Brahmins(especially the youths) wake up!

Does that mean brahmins can remain the 'UPPER' caste forever... It is brahminism that has alienated hindus from it's own religion. But, remember there are more faultlines in our caste system today. Many upper caste have become backward to get into reservation bandwagon. It is not the brahmins but these so called backward castes who are greatest caste abusers. Caste cannot be eradicated as long as it is officially recognized. Remove caste from everything including surnames to govt documents and encourage inter-caste marriages casteism will be gone from India in say 20 - 30 years.

doesnt mean others should be subservient? Isnt this high handed thought the cause for caste based division
I am not blaming Brahmins as people. But there is no doubt that firm action must be taken by Brahmins to eradicate castism..why should brahmins be against this?If anyone can abolish castism fastest in India they can! But do they have the will power or the motive?

Saibhaskar you are correct and we as the new generation need to find ways to remove this curse from our society.
Yes many commentators above have said that many very lower caste people have left hinduism because of wretchedness caused by caste based actions. What has the upper caste done to remove this cause of 'alienation' among these people?
Dear brother vg, I am not against brahmins. I never am. Yes many knowledgeable brahmins have done a lot of good things for this country. But it would be foolish to think that only brahmins have done so. Say brahmins have done 99 good things, but they have also allowed the 1 bad thing-castism to continue..do you want to have that bad mark against brahmins? If no, then work in abolishing castism. And yes, ur right..take the lead as you have done gloriously so many times in the past. If no, you want it to continue and leave things as they are, then it would confirm the allegation against the higher caste that it was in their interest to let castism continue.
Just a query..Arent yadavas supposed to be descendents of Lord Krishna..? Wasnt he a kshatriya? If so arent yadavas kshatriyas..ie higher caste? Then why they also get reservation?..pardon my ignorance if any..once again this question is just for my understanding and not to hurt anyone.

Whatever happend a history now.
Now a days everybody busy and no body will ask your caste. Some of the documentation will need your crap because of reservation. Plenty of jobs open for all. You can not stop competition because it is amatter of every day food.

Work hard and minimize the balance. Everybody working as a slave in this world. In India, Difference between high paid and low paid are more compare to other developed country. During my job, I have visited 13 states and 4 country and found that every where problems. 70% indians lives in Rural area.

and who found 0.. several years before so called technologies were 'discovered' by christians People in India, China and Egypt were calculating stuff like earch's diameter and were using trignometry effectively. By the way modern technologies were developed by white christians who defied Christianity to make the discoveries like Galileo's assertion that earth is spherical and not flat as mentioned in bible. You could be a Christian but the power centre of your community will always remain with the whites and you all will always be their slaves.
