Karunanidhi, OBC means Other Backward Class and not Other Backward CASTE! OBC reservations are based on the fundamentals of ECONOMIC condition of a Person and not as a bulk Reservation for any Caste. It was only SC & ST reservation that was based on Caste, coz those populations were traditionally shunned in India. Adding Groups like Lingaayats, Gowda's in Karnataka, and Jats in Rajasthan shows what a farce this reservation for OBCs has become. These communities that I stated above are more rich than even the upper castes in those states. Add to that the fact the Rich amongst the so called castes identified as OBCs are not even eliminated from this "freebie", it clearly shows what kind of vote bank politics this reservation is all about!
Recently I read that this guy Kalanidhi Maran who owns Sun Network is a billionaire. Now any OBC in this forum, can you tell me why such a rich person deserves reservation? And if he can get reservation, then why not a POOR but meritorious Brahmin Kid from Tamil Nadu?

idiot, did kalanidhi ask reservation for his son?but he will fight for reservation for downtrodden. just because one man in crores of oppressed communities is a millionaire,should the whole community suffer?just because one brahmin is poor,all brahmins should enjoy every benefit in the country?

hellow (always right) who pays for whom?u upper caste are getting educated by our wealth.u r getting higher education by government money,which belong to the whole population.,majority r backwards.u uppercaste ,u start ur own colleges,and run with ur own money.who is going to ask resevation in that?but when government starts and and funds educational institutions,how can u garner all seats in the name of merit?it is outright decoity.our share of wealth shud benefit us

Its not who asked reservation, it is why should he get it in the first place! No one asked any community be given favour, we are demanding equality. Why cant you OBCs study and achieve something in life? You guys dont want to do any hard work and yet enjoy life coz you were born a Backward class... You OBCs will remain one!
