This is not only in Bihar and true for all over in India.
Is it fair to compare this students with the one who is coming from city side schools?????????
These students might not be knowing IITs are there in India? Even if they know, in their dream only they will be studying at IIT because IIT needs a high quality talented students from very good JEE coaching centre and school. That what happening also. No rural student studying B.Tech in IITs(may be very few students). Still students from rural side are intelligent in which case there is no mistakes in giving reservation to them.
Whoever against this reservation should force the GOVT to change the criteria for OBC( Already there are some criteria like income) and should not oppose this policy. This is a very good policy.
Anyway this 27% is extra and not going to affect the anyone.
I am also from the situation as you have seen above. I have done my B.Tech in Anna Univ(entered under BC reservation of TN Govt, Thanks to Govt) and placed in a company called HLL as a research office and Now I am doing my M.Tech at IIT(Enter in OC).

Karthik,
Per Se nobody would be against reservation if it is provided to the needy like the people mentioned above. Touch your heart and tell me In reality is it happening like that? Why many people are against the government's current OBC policy is because the politicians wants reservation for their children also (That is their reason for inclduing the creamy layer on the quota list) and it will be only the politicians kith and kin who would enjoy the benefit of reservation. The philosophy would then become simple, Rich would become Super Rich the poor would become poorer.
