I am from Patna and now working in Mumbai. I was in tears reading this article. Very well presented. I always used to fight with people who used to critisize Bihar without proper knowledge. Although being one of the most intelligent and hardworking at my workplace and college I was always looked down. By best regards to those who have written this article. THEY MADE ME FEEL PROUD. Hi I am from Bihar...now in UK...got scholarship for phd....won (BSID) and university of southampton best presentation awards. I am proud of being as Bhari. Surrounding english people know my potential....be proud of bihari

I feel as a wall has to side bihar is also not as fruity & Juicy. Yaa it has also some drawback like population, illitracy & health problem. The development scenario in bihar is far away as compare to gujarat or other state.

I think no one should think that way Bihar(Magadha , Mithilla , Anga Desh,Vaishali and other Kingdom Which it comprise of) has given India golden age. And in future it will prove again.Wait for right time it will come and sure it will come.

Do not worry.Though people look down upon bihar,It was made by politicians.Bihar tops in sending maximum people to IAS/civil services. As an indian,i would like to see every state prosper and on whole india should prosper.

Hey u should not think like that; I m also from Bihar and worked at delhi,mumbai,goa,bangalore and now in Europe .. but i never felt like down or something like that.well I would like to remind you that after every day there is a night and after every night there is day. This is the rule of nature. If you look back into history India had three university Taksshila,Nalanda and Vikramshila . Out of the 3 two(Nalanda and Vikramshila) was in Bihar only.Bihar was the centre of education in Asia that time .The condition of Bihar will definitly improve.Any way you should be proud of as a Bihari.. now also if u will look at the no. of IITian/IAS .. Bihari are far ahead .
