It is most unfortunate to see as to how the so called peasant lovers are keen to exploit them for the sake of personal gain and political powers. They are unable to read history and not interested to look for future. (1) Was there any official attempt and/or notification to grab the land of the peasants. (2) Confusion created due some mis conception by so called peansant lovers were more keen to creat doldrum in the state so that their personal vandata can be fulfilled. (3) Historical data says that land are fragmented due to expansion of family members. Consequence that they are being sold out to local jotdars and/or mukhias to safisfy that immediate need of money - naturally at under price. (4)Data also reveals that most of the muslim people of the area are darjis by profession and they work in khidderpore and adjoining areas to earn money which clearly shows that their earning from land is not sufficient for their need. (5)Development of the area means opportunity to earn through some other profession also. There are series of issues which can be listed. The important issue is - Did the socalled well wishers made any attempt to lookafter the interest. Rather they did not allow the peasants to talk nor they themselves participated in any discussions. They were all along interested to spoil all attempts to initiate discussions. Their attitude clearly reveals their attitude and intentions. Most important is when CM made it very clearly and clear terms that the land of Nandigram will not be taken and there will be no industry, why still the so called well wishers did not restrain themselves? One can understand the reasons behind it. Comparing someone with Hitlar or incident with Jaliana Bag clearly shows that no one is keen to assess his/her steps which has provoked and ultimately take away some valuable and precious lifes. In fact these leaders are vitiate the calm and quite atmosphere of the State. History will not spare them.
