Buddha didnt resign for left but will left learn?
by Gautam Sinha on Mar 22, 2007 10:13 AM   Permalink

Buddha did not resign to avoid embarassment for his party. But will the perty learn? For years the left has encouraged immigrants from Bangladesh of a particular community with a 'victim' mindset into India and allowed them to systematically set up parallel systems. True the left did a much better job at integrating them into mainstream than other parties but also allowed them to remain in that ghetto mindset. The results are obvious. Their clandestine operations and narrow mindset are taking a toll on the state. BSF and intellegence had always warned of WB being a vulnerable state but the left never learned and always encouraged them. It is rather obvious why policemen did not stop arms coming in, possibly they were discouraged from doing so on earlier occassions when leftists were allowing this covertly. Left will never learn from its mistakes. It is a known perception that areas like Khiderpore/Garden Reach right inside Kolkata are ruled openly by these criminal elements with adequate patronage from the left. Will the left now wake up?
