Some things are true
by on Mar 21, 2007 07:19 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

I am not an expert rather most Indians and Pakistanis (I guess) are not experts on the kashmir issue or any of the border issues. They read some report, "imagine" some things and finally write something else. Rather than people making their own decisions on how the Indian leaders should be or how Pakistan is becoming a failed state, I think in this time of global economy where people are moving from country to country, it is important to understand our neighbors. If you ask me, or any average Indian, I am pretty sure we dont know how an average Pakistani is. Some of my friends who visited Pakistan say that an average Pakistani is very humble to Indians. He had that experience. Do we all average Indians have that, I guess not. I also believe that both Indian and Pakistani media are very one sided and report what their individual country wants to hear. Lets face it, its human nature to read gossip, something that drives a little adrenaline. So if a small report makes the media sell itself, well they do that. I have no solution, but I strongly believe that there should be a one on one interaction between an average Indian and an average Pakistani.

why media or ppl discussing on boards always try to compare India and Pak.why average Indian needs to understand average pak. There are several other countries why not try to understand other countries?
If average paki is so good , if they are so humble , its good let them be .

It is pakistan which attacked India for Kashmsir,Indian politicos are so foolish, they left captured 90,000 soliders and Lahore without solving the issue.Well,we need to have good terms with neighbours, but if neighbours are constantly trying to sabotage the interests then whats the point in thinking that
their leaders are bad thats why we are suffering but avarage neighbours are good so we shd not feel it means ultimately what we are going to get??

we need to think and understand the ppl if they are underdevelopped and trying to improve themselves,so we need to understand and support them.we doesnt have to understand the plight of average ppl when they are indulging in bomb blasts and thinking to bring down others irrespective of their own growth.

The need of the hour is take strict action on terror plans and try to move forward with economic growth.we need to understand others when they want to grow up not when they want to destrory others at any cost.we say we need to understand pak,but we never try to understand our own neighbours,if so thousands of kashmir ppl wont live on streets for last 18 yrs.
Always by comparing with pak we are limitting ourselves.

remember kishore pakistan did not attack india in 1965 instead india attacked pakistan even without announcing and at night like thieves dont you have sense that pakistan had far less war equipments at tahat time it had a number of other matters to cope with than how could it attack india but alhamdulillah we defended ourselves very well and you failed to occupy the newly formed pakistan . remember you did not left lahore but you were defeated there .remember pakistan destroyed your 90% airforce you left our 90000 soldiers for occupied kashmir . your political leaders could not be so foolished taht they released 90000 soldiers without any cause dont say anything without knowledge
