Hon'ble Chief Minister Mr. Budhhadev Bhattacharya is doing very good job. People of Bengal should think that present and future generation can not survive without industrilisation. The Bengal will be neglected from all over India as well as world if the industrilisation does not take place. I would request the people of Bengal as well as the political leaders to join hand with Budhadev Babu and make the Bengal No. 1 in India so far indusrilisation is concerned

West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee should accept moral responsibility for the andigram violence and quit. "In the eyes of the law, those who committed the crime are criminals and those who abetted it are also criminals. Chief Minister had sent the police and party cadres to Nandigram and ordered them to fire. You are behind the operation and you also ordered the arrests. You have taken the responsibility for the incident. The case has been proven against you. You must resign. If you do not, not only Bengal but the whole world will condemn you,"
At least ten Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) workers have been arrested and illegal arms seized after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) started its investigation into the causes behind the violence on the orders of the Calcutta High Court.

How did you agree with him, Piyal? How many good companies are there in Bengal right now? Jute Mills, Metal Box, Shaw Wallace, Phillips, Jessop, BI, Carter Pooler etc can be named a few. Some have shifted, some closed, some sold, some running like snail-speed. If existing companies are take care of properly then no new industry is required.
