CBI Probe in Nandigram
by Biswajit Ghoshal on Mar 15, 2007 03:07 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

I doubt whether CBI would be able find out anything at Nandigram. The area has been taken over by Police and CPM-cadres. By yesterday night they must have cleared off all the proofs like shells, killed children and ladies, the rape-victims' clothes etc.

The CBI team must check the TV recordings from all the channells like Tara-Bangla, Zee etc. However, footages of Star-Ananda (which is patronized by CPM) would hardly yield anything - but that too should be checked. The CBI team would have an uphill task ahead of it.

it is very bad, that people had to shed blood for sake of industtrialisation. my sympathies with the families. I am not from bengal but I am opposed to the project, because I want all growth and industrial, IT etc; to happen only in my neighbourhood--south and west.
this incident will roll back bengal to 1990s.. bengal people dont deserve growth.

Star Ananda is of the ABP group. It was that ABP that took part in the Trinamool meeting and its editor Abheek sarkar was there when the list of TMC candidates for the last Assembly election was decided. Know the facts correct whether Star Ananda patronizes CPM or the TMC

lol...mihir i think bengal can only grow when it rolls back 26-27 years...when cpm came to power...then it was perhaps one of the most industrialised states? the downfall started with the cpm assuming power....now after so many years of evicting the industry for the cause of workers union the cpm suddenly want to appease the industry to come back to bengal...to champion the cause for employment for the youth of bengal....wow! good idea! hehe...
as for south...well yeah...u may want something..but ure obc first policy will soon drive away the "growth and industrial, IT etc" beyond your reach...so...sweet dreams!
