Yet another example how any news about Pakistan get undue importance in our media. The article (story) in question was published in Sunday New York Times, not as a headline story. However, that did not stop our media to flash it as a headline story the next day. NYT, in many senses, is a mouthpiece of the US government, and this news item reflects the current US reservations about the Pak dictator. However, our media should stop from gloating over it.

NYT is a mouthpiece of the US government!!! Which planet do you live on? Some of its reporters have spent time in jail for exposing the blatant lies of the Bush govt. Man, check your facts before saying in public. NYT is the most repected newspaper in the country. It has got a lot of credible sources and infact its stories are cited by reporters and other journalists.
