Abandoned by their own, the law will not help them
by S Kiran on Mar 08, 2007 09:01 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Teach right morals to children right from schools. Now a days schools are more interested in making money and not teaching. Children can go to private tutions to learn.

Parents and society should behave in such a way that they have a positive influence on children. They should grow up to become responsible citizens, caring for thei parents, elders, society and the country.

morals can't be taught. so just making the kids mug up theories on morals will just increase their burden by one more subject. the problem is due to the changing attitude... the only solution is that parents should start planning for their retired life and not spend each and every penny on their children. with an onslaught of globalisationa and consumerism, people the selfishness will only increase with time. so, don't lament that your children are not taking care of you, save enough to take care of yourself. gone are the days when investing in children was secure :)
