I agree. Our poiticians love one line from the song"Blowing in the wind" by Bob Dylan- And that is: "How many deaths will it take to be known that too many people have died, The answer my friends is blowing in the wind!"
So while our pied pipers merrily sit over Afsal Guru's petition, let us await another Kandahar hijacking, or something more horrific to secure the release of Afzal Guru!

Go and hang him, What then!! Afzal will be hero not only in kashmir but throught the world. I think Bagat singh has also attacked parliment of some country, don't u project him as a hero and don't u call him SHAHEED Baghat singh. Similarly Afzal will be projected as a hero, because he has commited the same sin which the hero of India Bagat singh has commited some decades before.

Your comment that Bhagat Singh attacked the Parliament of "some country" speaks volumes of your commitment to the country and nationalism! Bhagat Singh attacked British aggressors of his country, while Afzal Guru was acting against his own country and at the behest of his masters in some other country.

Bagath Singh dropped harmless smoke bombs into the well of the parliament of British india. He wanted to awaken the british rulers and the world to the injustice being done to our countries( reading ur view iam assuming ur from a neigbouring country). He didnt go about firing AKs and throwing grenades and RDX bombs and killing people...
