Mumbai - Past Perfect , Present Tense
by Ajeet RB on Jul 01, 2007 09:44 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

As a citizen of this country ( I live outside Mumbai) I feel very sorry and angry for at the same time, on the state of Mumbai.
Its disheartening to see such a glorious city being reduced to mess day by day. Politicians speak about making Mumbai a Shanghai, I think if they even make it old Mumbai, Mumbaikars will thank million times to administration.Seeing Mumbai reduced to its knees year after year it seems like no one ( administration) is committed to betterment of city, rather they are self centered and only interested in filling their own coffers.
The sorry state of Mumbai raises fingers not only on BMC but also on State government which has failed to perform in many areas.
Bangalore and Hyderabad are way ahead.
