Media and people can also do something about planning this. Media just keeps showing different places that are under water and reports losses that have occured because of these rains.
Instead of pointing towards corporation and government which is very slow in action,I feel Media should do detailed analysis of various geographies and work out with private infrastructure companies to suggest various solutions to government and highlight those to govt and people. Round the year Media should always keep highlighting the percentage of work pending and done regards to Infrastructure development.
