Indian people including tamils display gratitude openly. DMK initially paid 1500Rs per vote and additional 1000Rs before election.at 2500Rs, some families with four votes made 10k and they came out in large numbers to show their gratitude. This is real reason why dmk won.Remember ADMK winning by 50000 thousands votes when they were in power.
For DMK to win in madurai, an ADMK fort they must have spent a fortune.

and poeple who refused to accept gratis, were not allowed to vote. In Mu.Ka Azaghiri place only arm twisting works.....
