Since you are an internet user , I feel that you should do a google search before you ask a question .
Anyways this is symptomatic of how our governments have successfully kept the cover on the report . The below text from Wiki may be helpful
The Henderson Brooks-Bhagat report, also referred to as the Henderson Brooks report, is the report of an analysis (Operations Review) of the Sino-Indian War of 1962. Its authors are officers of the Indian armed forces. They are Lieutenant-General Henderson Brooks and Brigadier P S Bhagat, commandant of the Indian Military Academy at the time.
The report continues to be classified by the Indian Government, as of October 2006 .
The report is said to be openly critical of the Indian political and military structure of the time, as well as of the execution of operations.
Author Neville Maxwell has published what he claims are summaries of the report . While this has not been verified by comparisons with the (still classified) text, it has been accepted as a reasonable summary by the Indian media.

do we have reliable parties who could tell us the truth?

Yes Poli,
There are such "parties" depending on your definition of (and intention with) 'reliable' and 'truth'!!
And there lies the problem with 'recorded' facts. Facts can be recorded based on what occurred but the intentions underlying the events are always .... yes always!! ..... open to interpretation!!

Mr.Ravi, Nice display of understanding w.r.t the subtilities of history (recorded or oral) and news. Hope you will contribute to the discussion on the main topic.
