Nehru taken for a ride by Chinese: CIA
by kamal medhi on Jun 29, 2007 07:40 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

It's well known fact that Nehru made a blunder in 1962 which not only demoralised him to death bed but hit hard at the nation's psyche. It's a shame how some of our communists friends still believe that it is India who started the war.Communists and their ideology is as detrimental as the Talibaans.Just imagine what could have been if the wild fantasies of our misguided youths during Naxal movement became a reality.

For the benifit of the world we need to align with the US without any inhibition and with sound diplomacy.Though a section of us feels it crazy to align with white skinned people, just think if britishers did not come to india, we would have remained much like Afganisthan today.

regards

KM

i take grave objection to the phrase "just think if britishers did not come to india, we would have remained much like Afganisthan today.".What does it suggest? Our 2000yr indian civilisation became modern because Britishers, god,i cant believe educated people have such misconception about our history and our history.Mr kamal, irresptive of ur religion ,i am sure u suffer from huge lack of indianess. But not everything is lost, give urself some time to discover india .

Typical Indian 21st century obsession: live, talk, speak, think like the Americans. Side the Americans, align with them? If it's done, without any doubt it'd remain the biggest blunder in India's history. Can't you do something for the benefit of the world by just being yourself? If one is so dying to align with someone, why not openly announce and align with the emerging Russians, the ex-Soviets who were on our side through thick and thin?

there goes two fools ready to become slaves - one to americans and the other to russians. dont u guys want to stand up on your own, always needing clutches. no wonder India was pillaged by one and all - right from the muslim invaders, moghuls, britishers and now the jihadists and communists. please have more faith in yourselves and see what wonders we as Indians can do without anyone's help.
