I am not a Mumbai native and have stayed in most of the metros and some smaller cities. My comments on the pros and cons of Mumbai. The cons first... Cons 1. One of the dirtiest and smelly cities(after kolkata) except for some posh residential patches. 3. Great disparity between rich and poor. Huge slum populations. 2. Extremely crowded. 3. Long travel times- intracity. 4. Not so pleasant climate.
Pros 1. One of the most industrious/hardworking set of people I have seen. Life is a struggle but they have made it a way of life. People are very helpful. 2. Very lively city.Lots of variety in culture, food and entertainment. If you have the money, this is the city to be in. 3. Level of corruption is comparatively lesser than other cities that I have been in. 4. Public transport though overburdened, is great. You don't have to worry being stranded in a place for a long time. 5. Celebration of Festivals. Celebrate almost all big festivals with pomp and enthusiasm.

Yes I agree with You..i stayed in Mumbai for 12 years shifted to hyderabad 3 months back..missing mumbai like hell....Hyderabadis are so lazy n laidback...not at all hardworking...though im a telugu myself, i love only mumbai..it is the best city in the world..want to go back..
