The neo-secularists think they are the guardians of secularism in India.
I thought it is the left ideology to see people as haves and have-nots and stand for have-nots. They found new pastures in meddling with casteist and religous issues when their own ideology could not bring them votes. The problem is the Communist party have come too far from being the grassroots party it once was in places like Kerala and Bengal.
They know they talk and practice pseudo secularism and can enjoy power through backdoor not taking the trouble of sweating it out for common man irrespective of religion/caste

Friend,
You are comparing an apple with an orange. A thief is a bad person, but still can be secular. A minister can take bribe, still be secular.... I am not sure if you truly understand what it means to be a secular. One thing for sure, you understand who is "not secular".( People you conviniently forgot to include in the list ) Keep working on that definition, and oneday you will be enlightened.

If one says poor people in the majority are not getting their due, will he be secular?
I believe the answer is yes, but I don't know what your enlightened thought is.
As for left and congress, their answer is a resounding NO
