A subcontinent of different nations
by khalid khan on Jun 26, 2007 03:21 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

I believe Kashmir is neither a part of India nor Pakistan. Both Pakistan & India are basically a nation of fragmented people , so it is obvious that distinct and ethnically separate races like Kashmir, North East & South India will not feel part of either India (dominated by north central india) or Pakistan (dominated by Punjab).

You are trying to mislead. Contrary to your argument, nations formed on the basis of diversity are much stronger than those formed on the principles of similarity. What happened to Pakistan which was created on the basis of Islam and its followers? It could not survive long whereas India, a country of diverse people, is going stronger day by day as a nation.
