Is it really a good news for Indian Navy?

Even after 60 years of Independence, we are still getting these kind of war machines from other countries...

We are talking about knowledge economy etc.. Is this the reflection of knowledge economy? that we still source our defence equipments from other countries...

Please decide yourself.. If this is the good news or else?

Hi Vishnu,
I understand your concern. But we have to remember the fact that india(as a nation) was born 60 years ago. If we consider this factor we are developing very fast. We have developed in Aerospace, Information Technology and in Defense. The process of ship buliding is very complex. It will definely take time. I can say this because i have been working in this feild for past 8 years. We have to take one step at a time. We are launcing satillites. We have developed missiles, Nuclear technology. Many advances have been made in biochemistry, drug development. Our economy is on the rise. achieve ment will come eventually.
