The hallmark of hinduism has always been tolerance. That is what makes India so special. And I have never seen such an intolerant bunch of uninformed fools as you all who are writing posts here. I doubt if you all have read the Quran so please don't try to sound authoritative. Same with Muslims -- you haven't read the Gita so please don't denigrate another religion.

Oh really? Why didn't we succeed in bashing up the British then-- and lived in subservience for hundreds of years? And how did an MK Gandhi manage to do, without violence, what the mutineers did not do in 1857? Give yourselves a break guys -- terrorists come in all hues -- religious (hindus and muslims), regional (ULFA),political (Naxals). The ONLY way out is peaceful cooperation. If you are not able to see that you're lost souls who will see your own children suffer in the coming years as a result of the message you're spreading on boards such as these

Bala, have u read the Quran and hadisa. Can you explain the source which has made muslim so agressive and intolerant frm centuaries?
It seems very sound and pleasing to take middle path like Gita and Quran are alike. Is gita only book on Hinduism. Hinduism is very wast . it is pularistic. But we cannot allow any body to abuse us and say that Their religion is TRUE and PUREST .
I hope you will read the quran and HADISA and also study the behaviour of muslim world wide and commanality in the behaviour and approach
being a hindu I believ in EkamSat Vipra bahudha Vadanti" There is one truth and sages narrate it in different manner and also "Aano Bhadra vishvato... LET NOBLEL IDEAS COME TO US FROM ALL DIRECTION
but can other religion say that other religions are as TRUE and PRE as theirs
