Man, I agree with you regarding the world being a global village! I mean everybody wants the safe landing of 'Atlantis'. But the problem here is the way the Indian media is treating this matter. It seems as a question about Sunita Williams rather than the mission as a whole. And why-just because she happens to be born to Indian parents? And then what about the other crew members? I am sure they are highly capable people too! And what's with these 'havans' and 'pujas' for 'Our Sunita Didi'? Wouldn't you be upset? I am, because why don't these 'pujas' etc. happen for our soldiers, who, you would agree with me, face a battle everyday of their lives, and that too for us (me, you)! So why is the media not so much obsessed about the heroes who serve us? That's the issue my friend but then at the end of the day, everybody is entitled to their own opinions! Cheers.

count the number of soldiers and the number of astronauts! rarity is the reason for it becominga news item. Stop waving this dumb patriotic "support our troops" card for every single thing. Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel. This is an issue where people are connected emotionally and its fine to pray for one.

Who cares about astronauts man! Every soldier we lose are thousand times more important to us than any of these American astronauts! It's not out of patriotism buddy! But doesn't look you even give a damn about your own heroes!
