This is the Definition of Indian American as per Wikipedia: An Indian American (also called Asian Indian by the U.S. Census Bureau to avoid confusion with the "American Indians" so named by historical accident) is an American of Asian Indian descent. The phrase may refer to someone born in the United States of Indian descent or to someone who has immigrated to the United States from the Republic of India. A number of Indian Americans came to the U.S. via Indian communities in other countries such as Fiji, Kenya, Tanzania, the United Kingdom, Trinidad & Tobago, South Africa, Canada, Guyana and Mauritius. Indian Americans are mostly Hindu (though there are sizeable Sikh, Muslim and Christian populations among the demogrpahic) and are the most highly educated American demographic[1]. Unlike other Asian Americans, they live spread out in the United States. So I think she has the right to be called INDIAN AMERICAN. And also, as Per Indian Constitution, If one of your Parents belongs from India you have the right to get the Dual Citizenship for approved countries.(USA is one of the country in that list) It was amendment made in Consititution. So I am not sure who needs more education.
