Election of the president is not to be on party lines. Each member of electoral college should exercise his choice freely. By politicizing the issue, Sonia is playing a dirty game. President should be a non aligned personand he is to act in unbiased manner. By proposing a candidate of their choice, UPA parties are commiting a fraud on the constitution.

Didnt the BJP do the same thing when they elected Dr. Kalam ? So, it is not only Sonia Gandhi who is playing a dirty game. All others before her have done so and belive me this will not be the last. Politicians to come after Sonia will also indulge in the same thing.

Dear Harish Last time BJP fiste selected P C Elexander as Prez But Congress Opposed so BJP dropped the Idea The SP's Mulayam Proposed and BJP accepted But still left opposed and contested Captian Laxmi against DR kalam So get ur facts correct
