All lies
by Madhan Raj on Jun 20, 2007 01:32 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The Srilankan army has been lieing about the casualties of LTTE fighters. It has become a habit for the army to project that they have killed so many of the LTTE men. If one counts the list of casualties given by army from the early 80's, it would have crossed a million. The Srilankans do not want to accept that they cannot find a military solution. So they project to show the people these false figures.

LTTE is a terrorist organisation responsible for the killing of an Indian PM. So who cares if Lankan navy kills 40 rebels or 4000 rebels. India can't support terrorism in Sri Lanka when it is fighting against terrorism in J & K and other parts of India.

Well said...If LTTE and Lankan Tamils live in the same area, it is difficult for the Army to identify who is LTTE and who is not.
