Well said, ignore other fools who are just fools and take pride on some foreigners achievement as indian achievement because their grandfather is indian or father of greatgrand father. we can't change these fools, these fools are educated fools. Don't run behind some other nationals achievement because they have indian orgin, no use to india because of them. thats true. as long as we don't change and we start to take pride on real indian achievements we will never become a strong nation. you can praise her for her achievement but u can't take it as indian achievement. grow up you guys

i agree with you. We are all proud of Suni and we wish her a safe return to good old earth. You dont have to be born in India to be an Indian. There are many who do great honor to India being foreigners. There are so many in India who are ruining our country, lets focus our vicious tirade and criticism against them.

Sunita (Pandya)Williams daughter of Deepak Pandya and Bonnie Pandya is the second woman of Indian heritage to have been selected by NASA for a space mission after Kalpana Chawla. She is married to Michael J. Williams, but her roots go back to Gujarat in India and she has been to India to visit her father's family. She is of Slovenian descent from her mother's side. Among the personal items Williams took with her to the International Space Station (ISS) are a copy of the Bhagavad Gita, a small figurine of Ganesha and some samosas.
I hope these facts are enough to prove that she has more of India than many Indians who comment on her.
