I'm not surprised that MK didn't support Abdul Kalam's second term. With all his talk of 'Tamil pride', this snake has always been against other Tamilians coming to power. It has always been about family dynasty - HIS family dynasty. When are the people of TN going to realize that. The fact that he didn't want Abdul Kalam for seond term may be for two reasons:
Like Vijayakant says, MK can't engage in corruption freely, in collaboration with the congress maffia, with someone straight like Abdul Kalam in power.
MK doesn't consider Kalam as a Tamilian, possibly because he doesn't consider muslims as legitimate Tamilians (so much for MK's talk of minority support.) He probably doesn't consider anyone other than his own criminal community as true Tamilians. Better for the Tamilians to throw this wastrel out of the country, and send him to Italy where he can engage in corruption freely, as much as he wants.

Seeing the frenzy over Shivaji film by Rajnikant, it seems that Tamils have turned worship of living humans into a fine art. Why does it happen only in Tamil Nadu?
