Shocking decision. The courts as a matter of routine grant permission for narco tests on all suspects. Yesterday permission was granted for Mrs Jadeja accused of harbouring a murder suspect. Whereas Vanzara & co who are actual murder suspects were shielded from narco. If this is not double standards, what is ? Someone in the Gujarat govt is petrified as to what the narco on these 'encounterers' would disclose. It is also highly unusual for this kind of hearing to go on for so long when it could have been decided in one hearing itself. Tremendous pressure must have been applied to ensure that permission was not granted. Dont be surprised in Vanzara & co are released on bail very soon. Lets hope the Supreme Court takes notice.
