For a beleiver no explanation is required and for a non-believer nothing will suffice so please do not try to put things from your perspective.

your reaction is only as bad as the actions of the high priest/tantri. until unless we all stop thinking that my/our religion is the best we will continue to have such regrettable incidents. also lets not drag bible into it. all religion need to adapt for peaceful coexistence but unfortunately all religions without exception have stopped to evolve long long back. navneet B

Vedas also say that Idol worship is a sin. I think that all major religions say that Idol worship is a sin. Idol worship as practiced by Hindus belong to pre-Vedic india.

Pl note that inspite of so called Sin if any one do Idol worshipping in Bibal / Muslim religion,Pl note that both Chirstians and Muslims also do Idol worshipping.Example In the church U find mary with child chirst or Chirst on the Cross, and Muslims worship in the direction of Kaaba or picture of Kaaba on the mat they use for worship and this is nothing but a form of Idol worship.Hence U shld not blame others for Idol worship rather introspect yr own religion and keep quite.Pl note that I am not commenting on the relgion and I do hv respect towards all religion as at the end of the day every one prays to god but mode is diffrent and hence one shld hv tolerance rater than simply jump in to conclusion.Basically its once own belief and nothing else.Hope U agree with my pont of view and desist from giving -ve comments .

what is important is that people should be aware of the existence of God and worship to God if they want to. Ridiculing one form of worship over other is nothing but fanaticism. It does not matter if it is done with or without an idol. What is the big deal about an Idol worship. Bible was written 75 years after Jesus's death. Several passages were added and deleted to suit the time and each ones convinience. dont tell me someone was infront of Jesus and video/audio recording whatever Jesus said. And stop quoting Bible to suit your agenda. Just be open-minded about people and their beliefs. We do not have a perfect religion or a person in this world. Bible says so many things that dont make any sense....so let me leave right there

Mr. Cricket, while I would say that criticizing one form of worship and saying their form of worship is wrong,I'm really much in dispute of the fact that the bible was written 75 years after Jesus's death and resurrection. The bible consists of new testament and the old testament. The old testament was written much more before Jesus time. It says so many things about Jesus coming. The new testament was written by the people who followed Jesus Christ and experienced His love. I would ask you very humbly to read the bible and look at the books of the bible and check out what dates they were written on the internet. You can see the answer for yourself. As for the fact of idol worship, everyone of us have idols in our lives. we have ourselves, we idolize movie stars and wish to be like them, we idolise tv, we look for material comforts. Idols in the bible dont only mean the idols of other gods. it means the idols in our hearts too. The Bible also says, " God does not reside in the walls made of stone, but He seeks to reside in the hearts of the believers". It is not some misguided agenda it is a true definition of faith. Well i hope you understand. Any more further queries. direct your questions to davidprabhukiran@yahoo.co.in. I shall try to answer them to the best of my ability.

My Dear friend, I love your way of answers. People has posted messages against your faith. But yet you answered in patience by keeping the love preached by JESUS.
I love JESUS very much as he didnt ever spoke about hatreds. He even said love your enemies. I love JESUS.
As a Hindu i am asking you, can you send BIBLE to me with brief description of each chapters. Hatred is been preached in my hindu society.

My dear friend, The quote Mr.Raymond posted here was written in bible some 4000-5000 years before the birth of JESUS.As a hindu i know this is one of the TEN COMMANDMENTS given to MOSES long long ago before the birth of JESUS.
As a HINDU,i love JESUS as he didnt preach violence nor he preached hatred. Being a hindu,I dont believe in caste system preached by our VEDAS. These vedas describing the caste system has become the curse of india. These VEDAS has created so many troubles in india thru castes.
But one thing i understand, all people from all other religions treat me equal except my own religion hinduism. There is a basic fault in my religion of hinduism. That i accept.

Jesus in front of a cross crucified. What is it called? Is that not an idol? So you are disrespecting bible by being a christian itself. You are a confused person.

Jesus preached love but do current christians do that? You insult other religions? Please cite me from vedas where exactly caste system is specified. Please also tell me whether "caste system is by birth" as per vedas.
