The statement given by the minister is more baised to his family and son. I think he should try to vest his energy in upleft of the country and development activities. He should stop going to ritual places and expect VIP treatment.

Mr.Vayalar Ravi was supposed to be a progressive man. He married a Christian. That was a good example. He should have followed that example by not bothering much about the religious identity of their children. Instead he is harping often: "My children are Hindus."
The Tantri is absolutely right when he says that the children of a Christian cannot be allowed entry as per the present rules. Let us change the rules. Then we should also be prepared to change the rules relating to other religious faiths also. For example allowing entry of women into mosques. It is better to leave religion to the faithful. Instead focus more on good governance.

I kinda agree with you. I do not remember a hindu scripture prescribing anything about a non hindu entering temple. BTW you can't find the word hindu anywhere in todays sectarian hindu scriptures. But tantry should be allowed to punnyaham as it pleases to him.

What is the point in becoming a minister if one can't get a VIP treatment?
