I am a Hindu and I applaud the decision of the Kerala Govt. Nothing saddened me more than to hear that KJ Yesudass, the singer, who sings Guruvayoorppan songs with such devotion was not allowed entry into the temple and yet he used to sit outside the temple and sing. That is true devotion and I don't see why when God brings a person to his temple, lesser mortals stop them from entering it!

Only reason is K J Yesudhas a Hindu convert. Not only Guruvayoor banned him but also Sabarimallai Ayyapa Temple. It is a sad thing. Remember Yesudhas is no more a Christian he is Hindu.

Yesudas is indeed a great singer. But in devotion he could hv accept Hinduism officially and then enter the temple, if he was such a great devotee. BTW he has sung many Christian and Muslim songs as well. An Indian classical singer can not become one, unless he praises Hindu gods, because most of the classical songs are basically bajans

Where did you hear "stop from entering it" as you mentioned in the post?
No one stopped them from entering the temple... issue that "dirty politicians" are raising is that a pooja was conducted later on for purification of temple.. I also understand that they conduct this pooja everyday...
get your facts right before posting blog.. else you look stupid! :)

Obvisouly you have't read the post properly. I was referring to Yesudoss having been prevented from entering the temple. So while his Guru Chembai Vaidynath Bhagvathar used to perform inside the temple, Yesudoss was not allowed to go in! Hope that makes me look less stupid!

Because of the main doctrinal position or standing of its religion.the priest was merely implying what is stated or written.
