It is the ego matter of priest that he do not apologise for insulting the dignity and pride of millions of dalit of the country.For a time being if it is expected that it is matter of religion insted of caste it means there is no conception of conversion in hindusim.
In facts most of the priests including Mullahs make every issue a matter of prestige and ego and do a lot of harm to their religion, Muslims priests do too and hindu example is there.
Try to analyse the facts, 1.this is all political 2.Ravi is not a dalit, he is a congress politician 3.He named his "Rajiv" (excluded "gandhi") and want the godess sonia know that he named his son after her beloved husband,this is the best way to get marketing, otherwise how Congress president remembers this.
4.Temples are convervative bcos, there is a lot of conversions, now that they are trying to preach and establish a chruch in tirumala, the most pious hindu place, will any muslim keep quite if the same is done in mecca and scold allah and islam.They would have destroy half the world.

Zaheen Usmani, excellent post! The Tantris, Mullas and the Missonaires are all hate peddlers. Their heart is full of hate rather than love for fellow humans. The rest of the space left empty in their hearts is filled with ego. You are a true Indian!

it is not ego of the priest but ego of ravi krishnan caused the problem.the same type of punyaham had happend at the time of ravikrishnas marriage. then why he had to go again there and make the controversy.what he proved by that ? for his bhakthi/ego , he is creating a very sensitive issue which may lead to greater issues
