There is only God and nothing else. This is what Advaita (Absolute monism ) preaches which monotheistic religions won't understand.

Then I suppose you are not a Hindu if you do not beleive in polytheism like worshipping of gods like elephant, snake, mouse, water(ganga), trees (tulsi) and the list is endless.
