Surpised!
by Ice Fruit on Jun 12, 2007 03:52 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

This news given me a shock, not because of the controvorcy. Only because the present raja is staying at a rented house. Rulers like "samutiripad" did lot of good things for kerala, most of the kerala was ruled by them. how come the king is staying at rented house. is he in that condition?

It is unfortunate politics and misuse of freedom
of speech dominated or polluted the divine
atmosphere at krishna temple. courts and committes cannot understand the essence of
religion. they protect their own interests.

just because the properties of Samutiris and Kolathiris were taken over by the communist government when it came to power...The Maharaja's of yester years who were very famous in their governance and charities, became beggers of today....and the people who received the charities from those Maharajas are the politicians and ministers of the State

Sorry.

The question was not properly framed. You have rightly misunderstood it.

That was not my intention.

What I meant was: these days everyone says that the upper castes oppressed the lower castes, denied them opportunities, education and wealth and grew rich at their expense. If that is the case, why is the king poor? Did he not oppress the lower castes? That was my question. I hope it is clear now.
